Community Groups
We work with community groups to help establish electrification programs in their area.
If you are a community group that would like to see an electrification program in your area, reach out to find out more about how we can help.
We provide the following resources for free to community groups. If you use these free resources we just ask that you acknowledge ZapCat as the creator of the resource, and include a link to our website.

Instant Estimates
Households in Sydney, Melbourne and parts of NSW, ACT and VIC can use our instant estimates to find out the following information for their house in 3 minutes:
- How much transitioning could cost.
- How much they could save on bills.
- Which government rebates they qualify for.
Community groups are welcome to use our instant estimates as part of their events and presentations.
Options for incorporating instant estimates into your event include:
- Adding QR codes for instant estimates into your presentation slides, so everyone in the audience can do an estimate for their own house on the spot.
- Printing out large QR codes as posters or banners around the event, which people can scan with their phone to get an instant estimate.
- Sending the links in a newsletter, posting them on social media, or linking them from your website.

Household Transition Data
We collect data on all households who use our instant estimate tools. This includes tracking whether households booked consultations, and whether they requested quotes and proceeded to installation. We are able to share anonymised aggregate data with community groups.
If you have used any of our free resources as part of your events, and would like to see how many households you have reached, please get in touch.
We also conduct our own household research, the results of which are available on our website.
We are happy to provide anonymised aggregate data to support research studies, policy and advocacy initiatives.
