Vetted Installers
Our programs supports local businesses and the local economy. Where a local council, or other organisation, chooses to run a program in their area we can identify and vet a database of local installers that households can be referred to.
Our programs are funded by local councils and other organisations. We receive no financial benefit from installers. There is no fee for installers to participate in the program, and there are no lead fees or commissions.
We refer vetted installers local residents that have been pre-screened. After the introduction, the vetted installer works directly with the resident to provide the products and installation services. The customer relationship is directly between the vetted installer and the resident.
When we vet local installers we verify:
Licences
All installers must hold a valid and up-to-date licence for their profession, confirming their compliance with regulatory requirements.
Industry Certifications
We require installers who hold relevant industry certifications, highlighting their expertise and adherence to industry best practices. For solar systems we require SAA and NETCC accreditation.
Insurances
We confirm that installers carry all appropriate insurances. This safeguards against unforeseen circumstances, offering peace of mind throughout the installation process.
Warranties
We ensure that installers stand behind their work with industry-leading warranties, including warranties for both the products they provide and their workmanship.
Ratings and Reviews
Customer feedback is invaluable, and we carefully review the ratings and reviews of installers and conduct mystery shopping.
History of High-Quality Service
We follow up with customers after the installation process to ensure all installers maintain a track record of successful installations and satisfied customers.
Ongoing Support
All installers must be able to provide ongoing support and maintenance for the products they install.
